Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans
September, 2006

Trent recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans to help build houses for people who lost their homes in last year's Hurricane Katrina.  Here's what he had to say about the experience:

"Here's some shots from our worksite at the Musicians Village for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans. It was a great experience, working with Habitat, Americorps, volunteers from all over the country, and some of the musicians who are putting sweat-equity into their own homes and the homes of their neighbors. You can volunteer for as little as a day and hey, the Quarter and Garden District are up and running and they need the business. Go build some houses and then go out, eat, and drink. You can sweat it all out the next day at the site."
